~~Locust Grove, Oklahoma 1977. The Girl Scout murders were the most bizarre crimes in the history of Oklahoma. Three little girls murdered less than 24 hours after arriving at Camp Scott. Murdered in the night, without a sound, only a few hundred yards from their counselors’ tent within the Kiowa Encampment. In total 140 girls had arrived at Camp Scott on June 12th, 1977 and three young girls would become the target of a violent and heinous crime.
